My name is Brittni Darrington. I live in Idaho with my husband and two kids. My husband and I were high school sweethearts and got married a year after I graduated from high school. We then attended Utah State University where I received my Bachelor's degree in Social Studies Composite Teaching. He graduated with a Bachelor's in Agricultural Systems Technology, and is currently working as a potato farmer. Our kids are two and six months old, and they keep us plenty busy.
I have taught in a brick and mortar school for four years and have loved it. I have taught U.S. Government, U.S. History, Economics, Psychology, and a Senior Project class. I have also been a JV coach for volleyball and track. I have loved teaching, but I am making some big career changes this upcoming year. I am going to be teaching part-time online for Idaho Digital Learning and working part-time for our local school district as a technology integration specialist. I am also currently a student in the Master of Educational Technology program through Boise State University. I will graduate with my Master's degree in December.
In my spare time, (which is pretty non-existent right now) I enjoy reading historical fiction, digital scrapbooking, playing the piano, and playing board games with family and friends.
